Bodinnar from Cornwall
Gertrude Bodinnar from Newlyn (a self-taught artist) married Harold Harvey (also an artist) at Newlyn, Penzance in 1911. She specialised in flowers and landscapes, and her work was exhibited at the Royal Academy in London.Harold Harvey (1874-1941) : the first major exhibition of his work was presented at Penlee House, Penzance on 7th July - 6th October 2001 -www.penleehouse.org.uk

The British luxury passenger liner Titanic sank on April 14-15, 1912, en route to New York City from Southampton, England, during its maiden voyage. The vessel sank with a loss of about 1,500 lives about 400 miles (640 km) south of Newfoundland.
