Trewavas family connections in Cunnack chart.

The names in the charts come from Madron and Penzance, moving to places like Devon and Wales.

There are family links in the charts, showing some names that may have emigrated. I will add more names as they are identified.

Some are connected to the other charts, but I have separated them out for easier understanding.

The Late Mr. Henry Laity, J.P.

Death of Mr. Henry Laity, Penzance – November 1907. (Wife: Susan Laity, nee Cunnack)

Mr. Henry Laity, of Shirley, Alexandra Road, Penzance (and formerly of Penrose, Sennen), passed away on Friday, after a long illness, at the age of sixty-one. The deceased had been a prominent agriculturist in the Sennen and St. Buryan districts, and simultaneously held three farms under Lord Falmouth (Penrose, Bosfranken, and Selena).  In addition, he owned land in the parish of St. Buryan.  Ten years ago Mr Laity retired from business and took up his residence in Penzance.  At one period he represented St. Buryan on the County Council for six years, and had been a county magistrate twelve years, occupying a seat on the West Penwith Bench.  For a considerable time he was a member of the Penzance Board of Guardians and West Penwith Rural District Council, and the chairmanship of Sennen School Board was held by him during many years following the formation of that body.  The deceased was a lifelong Wesleyan, and a staunch Liberal. He leaves a widow, son, and daughter.

The Funeral

The funeral took place on Wednesday morning amidst manifestations of respect and esteem.  The interment took place at St. Buryan, a large number attending.
